He texted me after 1 month of no contact, what should I do?

So last night a guy who I’m casually seeing texted me after no contact for a month. I didn’t contact him at all either because I’m sick of gong to him. Anyhow I didn’t reply until this morning as I slept early. I replied saying hey I slept early last night but hit me up when you are free.. do I wait for him to contact me or should I just contact him?
