Because you believed that the Disney lies were true, and you prefer your delusions over reality. But that is the path towards serious depression and other mental illness, so you might want to get some help before it gets that bad. It only gets worse if you don't take care of it now.

I think it's that, reality is so cruel and harsh that your brain resides to daydreaming and thinking of whatever is happy. This is actually an illness called Maladaptive Daydreaming. If you think you may have it, look up the symptoms and see a doctor. It seems like you may be depressed and do not want to see the pain and suffering it causes you.
