I’m online a lot but only gaming, I do have instagram but it’s only for my photography.
But I do admit that everyone has their phone stuck in their hands nowadays, I’m seeing people all around me with phones either stuck in their hand of glued to their ears.
People don’t care about anyone nowadays they don’t even care about themselves it’s sad and quite pathetic really but what can you do?
Yes, but not because of the internet. Most people today are just selfish.

Yeah, the technological advancement touted to bring the world together is the one separating us into selfie absorb and disconnected man.
It is sad, frightening, and symbolic of the adage of “too much of anything is bad”. So we live LDR, “together” but essentially non/existent” fumbling through the Matrix of out technological expanse.
It's a key component in a multi-faceted issue.
Networking alone isn't going to inspire fling culture, but it does a lot to enable it. Connectivity creates a abundance. Whereas in the past you would only have the immediate community available, you can expect to match and meet with people internationally now. That means you have so many more options than you did before, and some are irresponsible with this in mind. Alternatively, I make multiple vacations each year to meet my sweetheart on the opposite side of the US. For us, connectivity meant we found one of a kind personalities between us, and we wouldn't have met had we been dating even 20 years ago.
The greater issue is the reaction to being able to choose from a global catalog. Whereas you could argue it makes finding someone compatible easier, most use it to upgrade. There are dozens of sayings and parables, predating the internet, which caution against always looking for something better. Despite this, the culture of today's dating scene urges people towards selfish ends.
Never settle, "know your worth", build a roster, level up. They're all quippy, almost like marketing phrases, which tell us to abandon what we have for something more. I have the opinion, though, that something you collaborate on, though imperfect, fosters investment between both parties. The longer you work on something together, the better it works for both, and the less likely each would consider abandoning their efforts.
"We built it slowly over the years, stone by stone... It's not as exciting as secret passion in the woods, but it is stronger. It lasts longer."
I think it’s about setting boundaries in a relationship.
my partner and I don’t look at our phone once we get home. We’ll cook, clean, talk about our day have dinner. Get pretty much everything outta the day before we settle down. If there’s no conversation then we’ll waste time on our phones for a bit before bed.
On weekends, it’s for emergencies only since that’s usually the time we utilize to catch up on appointments, shopping and date nights.
if we are alone, all hell can break loose.
Most young people yes. They don’t seem to understand what it means to connect in person anymore. They said they are in love with someone they met online but never met in person. And have only text. Can’t even make a phone call. I don’t get it.
I hate texting. I don’t like to be on the phone/computer at all…but for my job, I have to. Once I’m done with work. Computer down. I like to go out and do things, see my friends and family.
my husband prob. likes the technology more than me. However he is also more of an active person. So pretty well balance.
other times I come on gag to kill time.

Technology is always changing & unfortunately some people change with it. People used to talk & nowadays they text. People used to have pictures on their walls at home & now they have pictures on their facebook wall. People used to know how to write checks & now they know how to bounce them because their monthly phone bill is too high. People used to go places & enjoy those places with their own eyes & nowadays the only view is through your phone & you are not really seeing the real picture. People used to have friends & now they have followers.
That is not true at all. Not everyone is obsessed with the internet. I am only on this website, and my husband doesn't use it at all.
Your husband is lucky who have a adorable beautiful fair heart ♥ wife.. Wish God bless you both with all happiness of life
I have social media but I don’t believe it takes away from my ability to deeply love my significant other. I have a “check in and put up” rule I live by in relationships where whenever my significant other and I are together, especially on dates, we don’t go on our phones and only spend that time with each other.
I do think that with technology and social media it is hard for some people to be actively engaged with each other. But this doesn’t apply to everyone.
Im a sunstitute teacher and worried over the generations to come. We spend mire time with our devices than with real people.
Ready Player One.
That is the future and death of normal life.
I know a couple who live together but the cellphone made me them feel "LDR"😂
I gues people nowadays doesn't know emotional connection 😢 people think if we always communicate online that's connection to them
good point. yes, but it takes work. this junk is distracting as heck...
It certainly is turning a lot of the youth into people who have absolutely no social skills.
I am not. It's the females that are. I do use internet a lot but not for those things.
Our ancestors thought the same about the telegraph machine in the 19th century.
