My boyfriend cheated on me with our coworker 2 years ago. It took a lot of healing to move on from it…and he’s now been flirting with the new hire recently. I got upset by this. Things escalated and I said “she’s not going to fuck you” and he replied, “you’d be surprised.” And I blocked him. I’m so miserable that he said that. I’ve been feeling so sad and that comment literally made my stomach drop. I’m so fucking depressed. Why say that to me?

Taking a cheater back is usually a dumb move , the only way you can really give a cheater a second chance is if they honestly realized it was wrong to do and you realize in yourself that you weren’t the greatest partner to them, and that you were selfish as well , it’s still not a valid excuse for their actions , cheating period is a selfish decision period , so again I don’t really know your relationship and what occurred for him to bang thy co worker, but the fact that he is flirting with another girl shows his true colors and this should be your final straw to end it with him , he clearly doesn’t love and value you , and clearly isn’t making you his priority , if he is flirting with this other girl. He is a selfish person and only thinks of himself , realize you deserve better than this and that not every guy is an asshole like he is.. if you know you re a loving caring girlfriend that removes selfishness for your partner and he isn’t removing it for you then that’s your answer to dump him and realize you deserve better.
