Is companionship bought through money bad?

I am not talking about sex only, if you get together with someone for money but stay loyal to them, is it still considered bad, thinking practically?
People get divorced even in love marriage or get separated because of issues, then what's the difference?
I am not in complete favour of it either just looking for some compelling opinions.

I wouldn’t say it’s “bad”. At the the end of the day, if that’s really what someone wants to spend their money on and it makes them happy, good for them.

I just don’t think it will ever compare to spending time with someone who actually WANTS to spend time with you.

i wouldn’t do it myself but if I did I think the thought of knowing they’re only with me cause of money would ruin the vibe for me. 🤷‍♂️

That's a fair point, but I have heard of date night services in some countries or girlfriend experience in some countries, where people spend money for such experience.
So, some of them must be enjoying it if it is still working.
