A guy I never spoke to recently confessed to me. He gave me space to think about what I want to do moving forward. What should I do?

He told me to take my time, to think about it. He confessed to liking me for 4 years now, and is only telling me now. We've spoken a little over text, but it was all small words & exchanges. From our exchanges, he's a very sweet & understanding guy. However, I've never looked at him in that way and ever since his confession, I've been thinking a lot but nothing is really making sense. I need to give him answer soon as I don't want to leave him hanging for so long.

You do not need to give him an answer in a certain time frame as you suggest. Getting into a relationship or even starting to date someone is not something you should rush. This is especially true with a guy that is giving you the time and space. TAKE IT.

Really think about the things you like and maybe things you do not care for about him. Weigh it all out. Of course, everyone is going to have their flaws. It is whether they are too big to look past.

If you have even a little bit of interest, accept going out on a date and get to know him more. That is the only way you are really going to be able to tell if it is meant to be or not. It is the one on one time where you start to really learn about a person.

There is no harm in going on a date or two to see if you both mesh well. You could have the man of your dreams on your hands after you get to know him. You may also find this guy is not for you. That is okay too. It is worth giving a shot if you have some interest in him.

When it comes to embracing an unknown, Known I am prone to Risking. Either you Risk and find out or you do not and wonder about it. I prefer to know for certain so I would move quickly and find out if there is a Vibe.

First thing is to consider whether there are redeeming factors about him... Are you attracted in some way. If you are not sure or do not know then that is no big deal. That's what dating is for...

It really comes down if you want to Risk. He seems like a gentleman and if there is no vibe then he should be able to handle rejection. I also do not expect perfect so have a 3 date and you are in or out rule. If one of the three dates is not horrible then i doubt that she is real as people are not perfect. If you are going to risk... risk in certainty and 3 dates gets one to the point of a no doubt decision.

Well I'd say give him a chance if you think he's nice and go on a date or two with him to decide. If you decide after that he's not for you, just tell him that and move on.
