A relationship that is not grounded in mutual self-respect can led to all kinds of train wrecks.

Firstly, sharing of one's self, whether emotional or physical, with another. I have never dated a woman with a man that is Bestie as obviously there is attraction or they would not be friends. I suppose couple confidentiality or trust in handling our personal information and affairs properly is incorporated into this. These mistakes repeated more than once is an immediate Dead End.

Secondly, physical or intentionally planned emotional harm. Sometimes, we mess up without recognizing the effects. Repeated behavior is a Dead End.

Thirdly, violating a written, agreed upon, and shared financial arrangement. Never mind the comfort and relief of knowing one can handle their own money in both a shared and individual design... The larger message is "we are priority and/or I am secure in us." Violate money and that's likely another Dead End.

What is absolutely required is a forgiving heart, knowledge and expectation of Imperfection rather than Perfection, Forgiveness, same Worldview, and "walk your talk"

To get demeaned/negged is one of them. I think it gets called 'the red pill' stuff, insults, etc.
I don't live in TV fakery and know reality quite well - both the very good/beaitiful and the very bad and ugly of it.
To get negged down generally gets me to pull away/leave. No time to waste on arguing my value - you see it and acknowledge it, treat it right - great, we're good. You deny it - I won't be playing your game (s) (of envy).
