Why my ex girlfriend just up and walked away from our relationship and lye to me about needing to find herself and end up with an abusive old friend?

Our 5 year relationship was good so I thought, never really had a real fight as a couple.

We were always happy sexually, seemed like the best girlfriend ever.

And now she won't even acknowledge that I ever existed no texts no phone calls, and when he sees me in public wants go attack me physically "WTF"

I am so lost without my best friend now, and hearing stories about him abusing her mentally and physically I don't get it.

I just got out of a relationship too… my therapist basically told me that sometimes we don’t always have that answer and we may never know their truth, but it’s no longer our problem except their next person. I think you dodge a bullet because we all deserve authentic love and someone who will make us their first choice. She got karma by messing things up and choosing someone else. I think something was missing for her to do it but it could also just be your partner’s own problem. The fact that she wasn’t willingly to even share whatever it was that was lacking or she had a problem with the relationship than just leaving it already show a red flag = no communication, no honesty, and avoidance. You deserve better ❤️

Thanks for the thought it made the tornado in my head slow down a bit I just don't like the way someone could just leave the way she did she always seemed to be happy with our relationship and then she was gone and it hurts not to know what the reason was to so u fair as someone who I truly loved and trusted w8th everything I had emotionally and physically well thanks your comment was more helpful than what she had to say about it 😊

I totally understand, heart breaks and lack of transparency can caused an emotional rollercoaster in our head or heart. It sucks, but not everyone wanna tell the other person the full truth even when we thought we were good :/ however, I also believe there are good women who will be that person you are hoping for :) I’m glad that my comment can give you a bit of relief. Grieving is hard… so I totally get it, I’m finally just grieving after my break up and it’s hard not to wonder what went wrong or if something is wrong with us. Although I always believe two people need to make it work and has something to do with why things didn’t work. Sometimes, it’s mostly just one person too.
