+1 yIt may be they are too early in comitting but if they are aware about it then it may be a good thing because they are putting themselves more to the test while also seriously getting to know one another.
A trial by fire, if you will.
A thing to be keeping a lookout on though would be that they'd me in a honeymoon-phase of sorts, so not thinkimg too much of how good it's going until at least year 2 or more, I'd say.
Overcomitting once might turn out to be a boon in todays age but twice? A bit ahead if oirselves, are we?10 Reply

@TenderFantasy
That's great for you, but you are a very rare exception. Very. So I'm not really jumping to anything..
Personally, that they are not wasting time, and that they probably know what they are doing. Living with one's partner is neither a oregnancy nor a tatoo.
I would think job quitting/changing is something to wait a bit with, but even for that, if the feeling is present, why not? One can always find a new job.
Pregnancy needs a bit of certainty, though even that could be right within a month.
Tatoos, I would not to (at this age I also would not live with a girl unless I was clear with myself I'd welcome her getting pregnant with me).

+1 yI'd think they had a pretty strong connection and they're lucky.
The love of my life moved in with me just 2 weeks after we met.
Of course, under the circumstances it made sense. Her abusive ex was stalking her and I was giving her a safe place to stay.
I even got into a stand off with him with our guns out, in the middle of the night right outside my house, but that's neither here nor there.
Anyway, it lasted 7 years until she passed away. Never had a single problem living with her13 Reply- +1 y

+1 yWhat business of it is mine to care what another couple does. there's thevbottom linw it's nobody elses buisiness and if they make it their business then they or you (depending if your the couple or one of the others judging. For comment sake this is if your the couple) they are not your parents andvyou are not their child you'll be the judge of whatd good for you not them. Now can you tell me the definition of marriage? Well the definition of marriage best describes being in a relationship does it not? Then there you gave it. Thats your argument with the ones judging who have no rite whatsoever to do do.
00 Reply4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If the chemistry and connection and attraction is there , then why not? All relationships are a 50/50 chance , so whether someone chooses-to wait it out or they choose to go for it , is all that really matters. Everyone tries to rub their 2 cents together when it comes to judging someone else’s relationship , it honestly doesn’t really matter what anyone else thinks , what matters is if they are happy and they both made

+1 yId think it's too fast and wonder he reasons why. But these days, maybe because they are starving and need to save money... so... they need to commit to good communication and working to be good partners.
they should work towards getting married.

+1 yJust because it "can" work doesn't mean it's a best practice. Unresolved issues with ex'es can make this a dangerous situation for both parties. (Yes, in fact I do watch too much Crime TV).

+1 yI'd have to say the chance of that ending in a disaster is pretty high, personally. It's not a very smart move. When y'all break up (and let's be honest, most relationships fail), what are you guys gonna do?

+1 yMy girlfriend moved in with me after about a month. She either was going to follow an opportunity that would have taken her far away or she wanted me to take care of her and show I was serious. She didn't give me an ultimatum or anything though. I just knew how it was happening and I was confident and happy to have her move in and it's been over 2 years now.

Then that means they just rush in without thinking - sound young, idealistic and with no one to guide them.
Either that or they're middle aged and don't want to wait. - +1 y
I agree with you, @LittleSally.

No but it wasn't because of that that we broke up. My standards for a boyfriend were VERY low when I was younger. I would've taken in a homeless drug addict if he was cute! Yeah... I know... that's who he turned out to be! Thank god nothing worse happend really.

If it was just everyone else then big problem.

Roomates live together all the time, what's the difference? If it doesn't work out, you move out?
- +1 y
@TenderFantasy , these are complete two different relationships to be compared.
- +1 y
@soulmateseeker1994 True, but the dynamic is still pretty much the same. You have a fight with your roommate, you toss a coin to see who would move out, if you can't resolve it. Same if you were to break up. Yes, it's just more passionate and involves more intimate feelings, physical and mental so it IS easier with a roommate, but what I am just saying is that the solution is the same.
If you have children, there's child support, etc. too.
+1 yJust a bad idea in general not saying it doesn't work out for people but I think it's a bad idea
