What are your thoughts on moving in with your partner you’ve been dating for a few months?

Like… assuming you both want the same things (to travel, get married, have kids), communication is great, both work hard and are possibly already in love.. and you know that without a doubt they’re your person?

My only doubts about it have to do with the fact that my sister and her two kids live with me as well so we would need a bigger place..

I only say possibly in love because I know some people will say it’s too soon to know you’re in love with someone.. society standards are essentially why I second guess..

Personally it’s fine having someone move in.

you learn who the real person is, if you wait a year, they move in and you realise they are a nightmare, that’s say 6 months wasted.

There does need to a bedding in period in a relationship, to allow it to move from dating to relationship to deeper one, sometimes moving in does help with the latter.

I’ve done this and we are still together and live together and are e engaged but even so I wouldn’t go back and do the same thing again. I’d stay dating longer and only move in together much later down the line. It takes the romance away a bit and that can’t be helped really
