okay so my boyfriend works a lot. He has two jobs as well as goes to school about every Tuesdays to try and get his GED. Well him and I talk a good bit. We're usually both busy during the day so we usually call eachother after work and stuff. Well he hasn't called me and I've called him he hasn't answered. I didn't think of it bc I get that he needs space Well that was four days ago. I finally called him and asked him what was up and I asked why he wasn't talking to me. He said that he wants to drop it and we can talk tomorrow. I found this werid so I just stright up asked him if he was cheating on me and his response was "why would I cheat on you" so I don't know what to think or feel please help

This is a super natural fear, and you are valid for feeling it. That type of change can be really freaky and unexpected. Now, what you should do is slow down, and be ready to communicate. No one here can tell you what has or hasn't happened, but it very very easily could be something totally different. You will get to a point where you two will talk, and what you need to be ready to do is be fair to both of you. There's a good chance that he had something really difficult happen, and needed to work through it. But at the same time that's really scary for you, and you need to work through that. Take some time to have an open mind, and be ready to listen, hear his needs, and say yours. The best thing you can do for ypurself is have a little peace here. If he was being dishonest in some way, you can work through the steps to talk through and discover that. If he wasn't, you can be collected enough to be there for him through whatever was going on
Okay thank you lol. How should I approach the topic?
If I were you I would say something like this, "hey, I wanted to say these last few days freaked me out a little bit, and I haven't been sure what to think. We usually communicate a lot more, and it made me concerned. It seems now like something has been going on your side, and when you're at a good point I'd like to talk more. That's in part because I want to set my heart at ease, but bigger than that is I care about you and I'm concerned. Is there a time that you might want to talk about this more?" Now I always say things too long, but something like that. Give him respect, room to approach, some care for him, while also voicing how you feel.
Thank omg ur a life saver
