How do I tell my boyfriend to please not ruin his sleep schedule for me?

So my boyfriend works a lot so he has a sleep schedule everyday except on his 1 or 2 days off a week. On his days off, he likes to stay up to text me. But I don't think it's a good idea that he disrupts his sleep schedule on his day off for me. What do you all think? Is it okay? Or do I tell him to please not do it because I feel bad? If so, how do I tell him?

He’s a grown man. If he loves you that much he’s going to do it. You could mention it, just tell him you don’t want him to feel like he’s obligated to text you all the time because he needs sleep. If after you mention it he continues to do it well that’s on him as he’s making big boy decisions. I say at least mention it that way, I hate saying this, but that way he doesn’t get mad one day blaming you for his lack of sleep. I know you hate to think like that but people have told others that.

I wouldn't mention anything. Let him want to text you at whatever time he wants. Otherwise he won't want to text you. Don't let his desire to text you get ruined by you telling him that. If he is tired he can take naps and such
