Due to spending my entire life trying to escape from a very difficult home life, I've never been in a relationship.
I know that at almost 30, this might seem unusual, but if you've lived my life, you'd understand why.
This year, I've finally been able to break free and start living life. I've joined some dating apps recently and have been on a few dates.
I'm talking with this guy on Tinder who's a few years older but seems really nice. He just asked me if I have kids, as his last partner had one, and he would prefer someone without children.
He's now asking me how long my longest relationship was. If I just say I've never been in one, he might see it as a red flag and think I'm some weirdo freak.
But if I say I've spent my entire life trying to escape from a difficult home life, he might think I come with baggage and problems.
How do I word it without sounding like a wired weirdo freak?
