How to tell my father I dont want to come home and that I moved in with my boyfriend?

He's a strict Christian and doesn't want me doing certain things with him and believe in marriage before everything how do i tell him properly? He's the worst. I dont want to say im not coming back home because yoh never know what might happen i want to keep options open but i also want to live my life according to me. I left because he wants me to stay home and do nothing but be a slave to him and its weird.

Why do you have to tell him? You are an adult. Tell him as much or as little as you want. See him or not as it suits you. If I were you I would stay out of his house. If he wants to see you, he can meet you in a public place. If he asks when you are coming home, just say "I'm not coming home. I have my own place now."

If you are age 18 and older, by law he's not allowed to hold you home because of religion customs he could be held in false imprisonment… My advice is if all things are legal with your age than you are fine.

@Asker I would contact a legal aid attorney in your area, it's bad if he uses his religion because he could be held imprisonment also you could speak with your local police for advice, just tell them you need advice and fear that your father could use on you.
