Honestly I don't know any more. Sometimes I wonder if I'm throwing good years after bad ones. She repeats the same patters but either can't or won't see.

She got sick a few years ago having built a business we both worked in but she owned. Rather than rest and let me run it - which was my job - she gave it away and my job left. We lost everything.

We moved, restarted and had a baby. I got sick and she resigned her job, sold off everything and moved us all in with her mother. We lost everything.

Now I'm relatively healthy - as good as I'm likely to get, anyway. But she's been taken ill. Again. We spent the last few years rebuilding a business and in January I reluctantly took over as manager. In late January she got sick. She's found a prospective buyer for the business and they've said if they take over there's no job for me. Again.

She's decided my plan I've been researching for five years isn't realistic - by talking to other people about it, not me. Apparently I'm not "rooted in reality".

So she's proposing a rest of a few months then - you've guessed it - she'll be ready to start a new business...

I don't remember the last time we had sex. It was before we moved in with her mother. That's at least 3 years.

Now there's a girl up the road who flirts with me and enjoys me flirting back despite me being terrible at it. She's openly admitted if I wasn't married she'd want to be with me a couple of years ago. Recently she told me she'd like to tease me til I explode. She knows my financial situation - drowning in debt. She's shared hers with me - much the same.

The difference between them is the girl up the road says she believes in me. Regularly. When I've shared my ideas she's asked me to make her part of it.

Deserve me? I don't know. Do I deserve her for not putting my foot down the second time we lost our home? Or the third?

Maybe I deserve her because I'm too weak to stand up to her. At this point I'm staying for our child's sake. CPS would take the child away from her as a single mother if they interviewed me about her health. Basically she's dying.

And I'm dying with her.

She told me when we try to be intimate she feels disgusted this week. Then she said she can't understand why I'm not the loving man she married 🤦

It wasn't a moment I could point out that the guy she married was regularly dehydrated and drank a lot of electrolyte solution in bed. But now the guy she's married to takes a multivitamin and watches pornhub in the bathroom. And yes, I mean a multivitamin not Viagra. Who needs the blue pill?

When I first started dating my wife.. I was not deserving of her. I was in my opinion, not a good person. In that respect she did not deserve to be with me only in that I was not worthy.

I chose to make changes in my life to be the man she deserves...

I guess if it relates to compatibility: yeah many aren’t compatible so they don’t deserve my intimacy on a one on one level, so do I think there is someone compatible and this deserving?

I couldn’t say. I really couldn’t. Just wait tbh.

I think I could get along with anyone and all people should feel some sense of love or friendliness. I just treat everyone with a sense of intimacy and family-like views or friendship views.

I think it's more if she can deal with my quirkiness. I don't cheat, but if I start working on music hours and hours can go by and seem like minutes for me. I will also decide to go on short trips randomly. "Hey let's go to Catalina or San Diego or Rosarito!" ""When?" she'll ask. "How soon can you be ready?" If she can deal with those thigs, we'll get along famously.

Trust me when I say this, I don't deserve a partner. There are far better options out there, go for that. I am socially stunted with poor mental and physical health. I have made constant financial mistakes and live with my toxic family. I have not so much as smelled freedom and the way things look, I probably never will. I literally do not recommend this to any woman. You deserve far better.

It has nothing to do with deserving or undeserving. I'm sure any woman could be deserving. I just don't like certain qualities that are now pretty standard... I wouldn't even consider dating most of the women out here today.
