What would you do if you found out that your partner was married?

I've been dating this guy for 6 months, and he told me at the beginning of the relationship that he's been divorced for 3 years. He wasn't wearing any ring, and he had his own place, so I had no reason to doubt it. 6 months later, I found out that he was only separated not divorced, and that he decided to go back to his wife. What would you do if you were in this situation?

I know a lady who was engaged for a year, and she asked her fiancé when they would finally get married. He replied that he "had to get divorced first". She was under the impression that he had long been divorced. They split up after that.
