Depends on how long the distance is because it may not be worth continuing to explore if the distance is pretty far and you rarely see each other. I'm in a long distance relationship too but our distance is tolerable to where we see each other or try to at least once a month or close to that. I don't think neither one of us could do it if it was further than what it is.
