So there's no real name for this theory, but long story short the general idea is that when it comes to a woman in a relationship, their desire for the 3 S's that being Safety, Security and Stability, will trump any feelings of sentimentality they may have for their SO.
No matter how much they may say they love them, or genuinely love them, the moment they feel their partner can't provide for them they will move on to someone else. Now what this limit is varies from person to person, and many women will even go out of their way to fix why their partner can't provide anymore. But unless the woman is self made and can take care of herself, if her partner can't protect her then what good is he to her anymore?

What Girls Said
This is going to vary from woman to woman, but if a woman is raised to take care of herself, make her own money and has examples of her mom and other women in her life doing the same, she isn't going to need a man to provide her with safety, security and stability. This WOULD mean a man is disposable when he can no longer provide said. Seems very sad and selfish.
I'm able to pay my bills, have and make enough money to support myself. I look for a man who has the same and would enjoy me for the company, fun, personality and interests I have.
Safety, security and stability sound like parental qualities, not SO qualities. If you need a daddy, OK. But what grownup women need that? Either emotionally damaged ones or extremely lazy ones.
Its true. But you can fix this in simple ways like when you are walking hold her hand and put her on the side away from the road. Give her your jacket when she is cold. Kiss her forhead. Give her something small like a 1$ bar sometimes. Just give her that feeling that you have all of that for her.
