How come a lot of mothers keep their kids from their dad?

I've been seeing this a lot lately. Where the mother will withhold custody from the father when they break up, What is it about women that they feel then need to not have the kids father in their life?

Probably cuz the dad's were abusive and the moms are trying to protect their kids

Not all men but you can't doubt that there are a lot of shitty dads out there. by the way Mental/emotional abuse counts just as much as physical abuse. Kids don't need to be around their dads if they are abusive

I'll say there's a lot of shitty dad's out there because women get turned on by toxic dudes. So yeah when girls get to choose who they want to be with, oftentimes it's a guy that isn't very mentally stable. Because women don't get turned on by the boring guy who will probably be more level-headed.

Power, money, entitlement etc. As a woman, I agree a lot of women are evil beings. And they wonder why their own kids cut ties with them.

That's sad and very damaging to the children. Unless the father is abusive. If the father is abusive, he should only see the children when supervised. Otherwise, if the mother is witholding the children, the father should get legal assistance to be able to spend time with the children as it is beneficial for them.

Most of the time that she's just spiteful. I think because society pains women as angels we don't look at them as bad anymore. So when we hear a story about a man not being able to see his kids, we think it's because he's abusive because there's no way a woman who is an angel would do something evil.
