I've met plenty of people like this and they were all narcissists. These people have no respect for other people, and they will often start fights just to see how they will react.

They are always right, your always wrong. They know everything, you don't know what you're talking about. Narcissistic people are the worst!

I do think something happened in their that makes them to be angry, inconsiderate and rude. Another reason could be their upbringing too. Toxic/abusive parents produce toxic children and the cycle keeps going on. I know people like these and I had to cut them off.

Most toxic people don't even realize they're toxic. They so used to seeing things from a one sided narcissisistic point of view that they can't even conceive of how thier whole viewpoint is flawed/skewed. This is why on this site whenever I hear women complaining about thier relationships and they repeat how they have this problem with every guy. I test to see how open they are to another viewpoint. Because you're just wasting your time if they've already decided the cannot be wrong.

Could stem from a lack of confidence in themselves or the fact the feel illegitimate in a workplace (for many different reasons). It can help sometimes to have a coffee with the person in question and ask about why they reacted this way. There is always an explanation for everything we do. Also, some people are not that good at controlling their emotions.
