My I love you is said in the things I do that I don’t have to - make sure he always has deodorant, a warm meal, clean clothes , he is heated with a smile and gentle genuine interest in his day, it’s leaving the light on when I’m tired and have gone to bed if he goes out to not trip in anything coming home, it’s the physical intimacy I initiate, it’s in the way I protect him and look at him and lastly in my words - it’s all actions not mothering - just looking after a hard working man. But that’s from someone whom failed miserably at her most recent relationship. I did something wrong there. So maybe take mine with a grain of salt.
