Unless she has given you children, I don't see why any man would financially support a woman. If they decide to do support them anyway, then that's on you.

If she is the mother of your child, you should make sure she's good, because it's the same thing as taking care or your kid. Kids needs their mom. As a man, that's just something you should do.

If you do those things, and aren't a complete moron, for the most psrt most women will have no problem letting you lead. That's what a lot of them want. They just need to trust you enough and feel respected.

But the thing a lot of guys don't understand is you can lead and be asertive without being an asshole. There is a respectful way to go about it.

yes you'd have some level of authority but that's not exactly equal partnership, there are plenty of households where the man works but the woman is in charge of delegating finances and the house etc - changes for different people's wants/needs

@JBlade wouldn’t that be great? Except the reality is, is when someone is providing more in a relationship, they feel more entitled to authority and that’s where it starts. I’m sure women wouldn’t have started the feminist movement if men actually treated women like individuals back then
