Why is life so hard for young people?

why is life so hard for young people? why it so hard for us / then to take care of them self and pay the bill? Also fine and keep a job and have a good relationship and pay for school and not go jail?

Young people under 30. why is it taking them so long to do things?

Life has always been hard when you are young, everything you are going through we all have gone through it and survived just fine.
You think you are mature, but people do not treat you like you are, (you really are not all that mature you have so much to learn yet), you have a lot of wants and desires, but you cannot afford them, but that will happen as you get older.
You generally start at low paying jobs at the bottom, but that will get better as you get more experience, my 1st job paid.90/hour, then I worked at a gas stion and got $1.20 an hour. I can't get a date, she broke up with me, I haven't ever been asked out, I haven't had sex with a girl yet... Well welcome to the club, it is a very large club, but that will change.
Now it is easy to find a job that pays $15/hour, but everything costs more.
When I started driving the gas station that I worked at was having a gas war and it was.25/gallon.
My $75 Vespa motor scooter got around 100mpg and went maybe 45mph.
I could buy a car that ran pretty well for about $150 bucks, and I did a lot of work on them myself.
We had the draft, and if they picked your birthdate and you had a low number you either enlisted to go someplace better than where you would be sent, or you rolled the dice and hoped for the best.
No one in my group of friend had a number higher than 120, and they were picking up to 160ish that year.
My friends that could not get a student deferment enlisted, I was going to enlist but I had a bad knee from playing football and they would not take me.
So, while your issues that you are experiencing growing up may be slightly different than what I went through, or every generation before or after me has gone through, we all thought the same thing. Life is hard, life sucks. Welcome to adulthood.
Make the most out of life while you are young.
You will grow up, and get older all too soon, have a wife, kids, a mortgage, all of the adult things you want now you will want to go back to those days when you get older.
We all do.
I remember when I was in school, you never thought you would ever be done with school, you graduated, moved on and all of a sudden it is your 15th year class reunion.
Those years just flew by, but those 12 long agonizing years that you were in school took what seemed to be a lifetime.
You don't have a lock on the life is so hard, we all did at one point or another, but we got through it, you will too.

I had sex with a hook her ex hit her and she dose not have money for a car. I live at home and job hop. I can not afford' my life now. My dad and mom are broke. I go jail a lot and I hope that it stop soon cause I keep wanting a job and try get it in the wrong ways. I can not cook or clean myself properly. I can not make bank. I can not make her life any better.' I Tried to Join the Military. to get a free school and it did not work I got 8 days in jail for it. I told not try agin ever. I just can not do anything nothing a do will matter. life will get worse. I think about quitting life I do not know why I have not quit yet. I guss I hope it get better. But I can not make anything get better. people are sick of me living off them. my uncle said no off the jobs I had in the past are real or they are to easy or something. I want do something interesting with my life. I can not work fast to make people happy. But I want work and I do not want easy. I just want know how hard I have work and I want know what a real job that people respect? I do not want take any loan and debt. why can I not pay cash for anything? school cost to much and I do not want take a loan. I can not work fast or hard enoft to work in a factory. the only thing person respect hard physical labor. I want do something smart but no one pay to think. I can make the girls life any better other than give her money and that may not help if she use is for good are bad thing. I can fix all the jobs that I lost and place I can not go to now. I can not bring any of the girls I made mad at me come back. most of people my age live out home but I know I need move out so I can be broke. I wish life end sometime.

I'm going to be blunt, from what you are telling us many of the issues you are going through is because of your own actions.
Until YOU decide to make a drastic life style change you will contine to go down the path you are on.
It will not happen overnight, but getting to the point that you are now didn't happen overnight either.
You have dug yourself a decent size hole, but there is hope but only you can control what happens in the future.
Do you rise up and above where you are today, or do you just sink deeper and deeper.
So, decide where do you want to be in 5 years, where are now and miserable, or working on a better life for yourself.

Higher expectations. You can't live in San Diego off Watts paycheck.

Median household income (global) is under 10k, per capita under 3k.

When I was a private in the army I made 32k/year. I still live off that despite the fact I make way more money. Can't do that where you live? Move. You're obviously not in a high demand field.

inflation, todays dollar ain't got the same buying power your daddy and grand daddys dollar had. also jobs don't pay what they used to in comparison to the skill needed.
in 1980 $15/hr was the equivalent of $110k/yr and gas was less than a dollar at the pump. so you figure yea you can buy a $60k home in a few years, wife didn't have to work, and you had savings for your kids college.


Try to accomplish the same thing on todays $15/hr with gas at $3-5 at the pump
