So let’s say that you had a good friend and during your friendship, you met a guy. The guy was nice at first but became controlling. He still treated you ok, just wouldn’t let you do things like tell your friend another guy is cute or things like that. Eventually some drama happened that caused you to have to choose between them (even though the friend didn’t make you choose) and you chose the boy. Have you ever regretted it?

Anyone who ever would try to make me choose them or a friend, them or a pet, them or a job, whatever it is, they need to go. It's immature to give such an ultimatum and once it starts, who is to say it won't continue? Once you start giving them that kind of control, they'll use it against you every chance they get.
