My boyfriend says he doesn't like me cleaning?

It is in my personality to clean and help when needed, I have this urge to help before even asked for.. for example in family reunions, whenever I see some of his old aunts doing chores or just doing some things I offer my help and sometimes do it for them like sweeping the floor.. its because I am concern to their age and I am doing nothing too at the moment. But he doesn't like my personality like that, I am confused. He says he wants a wife in the future that won't do things like those... But for me even I became rich or poor, that is my personality... I want to clean and help if I have time

He says he has standards and he doesn't want me cleaning. But for me its not just about cleaning but I care for others and I can't help it because it really is me. I dont think of it like being a made, because for me cleaning and being clean is a responsibility to oneself too.
