Opinions on the preference for traditional wives or working wives vary greatly among individuals and are influenced by cultural, societal, and personal factors. It's essential to recognize that preferences can differ based on personal values, beliefs, and individual circumstances.
Some individuals may appreciate the role of a traditional wife or housewife, valuing the domestic focus, support, and nurturing that they associate with that role. They may prioritize having someone dedicated to managing the household and providing emotional support, allowing them to focus on their own careers or other areas of life.
On the other hand, many people value the independence, personal fulfillment, and equal partnership that come with having a working wife. They appreciate the financial contributions, professional accomplishments, and shared responsibilities in the household that a working wife can bring.
Ultimately, the choice between a traditional wife and a working wife depends on personal preferences, compatibility, and shared values within a relationship. It is important to remember that individual preferences can vary, and it is crucial to respect the choices and aspirations of both partners in a relationship. Open and honest communication is key to understanding each other's desires and finding a balance that works for both individuals.

The only scenario in which I would be OK with a housewife is if she and I have a kid or more with each other (not someone else's kids). Other than that, no way.
What Guys Said
Kinda both but I do the cooking which is a special talent women can't do any more.
No one in my area knows how to cook. All the guys do it for them.
For me I want and have a woman who I share the chores and every day life with. And I love it
I'm traditional so if I'm making enough money for us to survive and live off of without any major issues then yeah I'd prefer a more traditional wife. But if I'm not making enough money at that time and we'd be struggling to survive then it'd probably be better if we were both working for the sake of building a future and you know not struggling to survive day to day. Or until I got a job where I was making enough money that she wouldn't need to work.
Traditional. That definitely changed when I started making more money. When I had a mortgage I would've preferred a working wife but now my house is paid for and all my expenses are easily affordable but I just don't have time with my growing business. I just want someone to take care of my house but smart enough to put in a few hours a week to help me grow my business
I'd prefer (and have) a wife who is also a working professional - not for the money but because it gives her independence, make the marriage more balanced, and we have lots of fun technical stuff to talk about.
It's not what I would prefer it's what will make her complete. Does she want to be in the home? Then the family does that. Does she want a career or days outside the home? Fine too.
Either would be fine. What I struggle with is this notion that adults having marital, consensual, sexual intercourse that their own (or anyone else's) children could get to see, is somehow a crime of indicency!
Where there is violence or intentional obscenity I can agree it should be penalised (mildly), but between one's owm parents, or at a trusted neighbour's house, I think of it as a source of joy and of healthy role models for what love is and how to achieve it.I would had a tradwife if I was rich, a working wife that does not forsake children is okay.
Tradwife 100%. Successful career women tend to be masculine and disagreeable which are not good traits for a wife.
Imagine been rich enough to afford a whole other person.
can go either ways for me, id support her with whichever
