My boyfriend knows I am bisexual and I’ve told him I’ve just never said anything to anyone, because I don’t think it’s anyone else’s business. We’ve been together for 4 years.
In the beginning he never joked around about it but since he met new friends a bit ago he makes little comments about how I’m in the closet and how my family doesn’t even know. It bothers me and he says it’s just a joke. What would you do?

Set a boundary and be very adamant about it, as he needs to be shown it's serious for you. It's fine for him to explain he meant it as a joke, but then apologize, but saying "it's just a joke" is inconsiderate.

What he did isn't a huge deal, but I think his response to you sucked. Communication is important and respecting each other's concerns. I would make a big deal out of the fact he's not listening until he came around. That shit needs to get shutdown before it becomes a habit.
