It sounds sincere but I’m not sure what she’s apologizing for
She was going through some deep things from traumatic experiences with her ex who was physically abusive and a narcissist and she started to question everyone around her, including Me. We’re like sisters and her trust was ruined and she asked me, her closest friend, did I mess around with that same narcissistic ex and it hurt me that she would ask me that. That she would even think I would stoop that low but I suppose I have to see it from her point of view. He had gotten into her head that bad.
