Is it a bad thing to fall in love with someone who’s older than you?

Yes, I think it's fine for a person to fall in love with an older person. My one class-mate, who is age 56, married a guy who is 26 years older than herself. He adopted her son she had to another guy and them two had two biological children together, they grew up and on their own. But I think it's all fine.
@mayaJames You're welcome :)
Nah absolutely not, why should it be anyway?
We're just humans don't expect us to do just as the novels and movies, we fall in love with who we fall in love, no matter the age and race and language and height.
When I was around 18 years old I started dating a dentist, he was 39 and I really loved him just the way he loved me. We broke up after a while just because he was about to leave the country forever and I couldn't agree to that terms.
It is, especially if the person is old enough to be your parent 👀
I thought it was quite normal for women to fall for older guys, it might only be a problem if he's way older than you and simply cause of health problems, he's gonna kick the bucket a lot sooner than you.
My best wishes in your love life Maya 💯

Unless they are born on the exact same date. . . in every relationship, one partner is older and one is younger. I suppose you are asking about a significant age difference.
I am 68 years old. My fiancee will be 60 in mid-September. The only time we are conscious of the age difference is when people ask us about the age difference.
No I don't think it's bad at all and to be honest with you I wouldn't care what people say I would make it a point to tell them to f*** off because it's none of their business I love the answers on here when somebody's talking about being with an older man or blah blah blah and the answers that you get I understand to a point that usually it's a woman an older woman who just goes out of her way to bad mouth the whole situation I mean it's eats to their own but for me I would not care what anybody said
No, age is just a preference when you get older. I don't care what other people think about my relationships because they're mine. You shouldn't either, you do you.
Personally I don't think that there's anything wrong with that pr say ethically.
But be aware that if the age difference is large you *will* be in different stages of your lives with the consequences that entails.
At 30, I was attracted to, but not in love with a woman who was the same age as my mother. One day at work she said to me: 'You'd probably 'do it' to me if I would let you" And of course I would, but we were not in love.
no if both consenting adults, its up to them
It is not bad.
People are going to say all sorts of things. Ignore them. As long as you are both of legal age, consenting, and happy -- go for it.
I think it's fine, if you're both consenting adults. People make too big a deal over age gaps. If you're happy, that's the most important thing, IMHO.
Very welcome. I agree with you and I've been there
Says age 50 but you look more like late 20's 🤔
Is not wrong because if you're both adults then is normal. 🤷♂️, is just the jealous type that they see something Abnormal! 🤦♂️
People often are attracted to/fall in love with someone older than them. It’s nothing short of normal.
No and who cares what people say
I can recall dating my older ex who got flirted with in a restaurant we were in together and she let the waiter go on then kissed me, his face was a painting honestly
Nope, Age doesn't matter for me. And I prefer older guy
NO , the male should always be older , does not work the other way , and it makes good positive sense.
Love is so hard to find these days and age is just a number.
I've dated way older than me to younger than me and I haven't noticed a difference. Older women seem to be more mentally together and prioritized. I've had more issues with younger women.
Yeah if they’re old enough to be your parent or something.
Yeppers,
Not as long as there's mutual respect. That is always a must in any relationship. Age gaps that are too big, the elder can sometimes feel they're older and more mature. You can't have a healthy relationship without mutual respect.
Personally I don't see it as a problem. Love is love. Some narrow minded people may object.
Im not sure in the end if it really matters as long as your compatible with each other right..
No it doesn't matter as long as you both are of legal age
You're welcome
My grandpa married my grandma and she was older- two whole months older.
its simply a preference, the morality of the decision should not be factored unless your dealing with a minor or someone underdeveloped mentally.
Its not bad at all. There is no law against it. Two adults minding their own business and being happy.
Why do you need that ridiculous picture to ask this question?
Women typically fall for men older than them. Question is, how much older, is ok
Love sees no age - society is the one who fucks it up - if you and your partner happy fck everyone elses opinion
I am in 30s and she is in 40s love her so much that i can't imagine my life without her.
I'm sure you could easily get a younger guy to fall in love with you. Those thighs😍
No, not bad and as long as everyone is a legal consenting adult, then it NO ONE ELSE'S business!
It doesn't matter as long as your love is returned.
One of you has to be older. Even if you date your evil twin.
Not bad at all
It happens all the time.
No. Not at all.
How old are we talking about? Screw people, don't.
I would not think what some people would say.
Yeah why would I. If they don't care to know me enough they don't get to judge me either
Only few who I really care about actually no one I care much about coz no one feels like cares about me
As long as you're legal, it's only your business.
age shouldn't matter
Your guy should always be older than you.
Nope not at all and are you really 50
Thick thighs saves lives
I just asked cause your page says 50
depends how much older lol
nope
no it's actually normal
No, but a huge age difference can be problematic
How much older are you talking?
Who cares about age gap differences anymore?
Not a bad thing.
Nope
Not at all
Nope.
Nope depends on who
