I had an argument with my boyfriend, after which I’ve had a heavy feeling on my heart and I don’t know what’s wrong, do I want to break up with him?

We’ve been together for about three months and this is the first argument we’ve had. In the heat of the moment he asked me if I even loved him, which made me question my intentions with him. I love him as a person, he is great and is very kind to me, but I feel like I’m taking advantage of that. Am I with him just “because”; am I with him because I don’t want to be alone or do I love him? My heart feels very heavy and it’s making me physically sick, I don’t know what to think or what to do. Please help me.

Are you looking for someone to tell you to break it off because thats the feeling im pulling from this. I wouldn't as obviously he cares enough about you to question your love for him as he is feeling you dont reciprocate the love he is giving you. which tells me that this guy has thought about your future and thinks he would be happy / successful in having a life together. The question here is how do you expect any relationship to work out if you break it off after one argument. Marriage isn't easy and spending your life with someone is not something that comes naturally infact its against our nature to live with just one person as we are pack animals. Biblically speaking you should respect and love your husband, and your husband should love you like jesus loved the church. What did jesus do for the church? he died for it literally shed his blood for it. A man is supposed to be willing to literally DIE for his wife and you can't see yourself getting over a single argument? I think you could use a bit of soul searching and some relationship counciling not to be mean. It would help you to realize what a man is going through mentally and not just what you feel.

Sorry but how can I or anyone else tell you how you feel? I can't know your own intentions. Only you can figure it out and it does seem like you have a lot of figuring to do. Maybe this is a case where a break from each other would do some good. It might help you figure out if you really want to be back with him. If not, break up. Use the time to really think about the relationship.
