Do the first ever kiss matter or should I just get it over with?

I’m 21 y/o and have never kissed a guy. Not saying I haven’t had chances but those times I declined and said only on the cheek. I think it’s cuz I’ve never kissed someone and kind of want it to be with someone special but the thing is that the “special someone” might take a while to find. Is it better to just get it over with so I can just make out w any guy I find attractive at parties instead of being so cautious or is it better to wait?
Also if someone can share their experience with waiting for the special someone it would be appreciated :)
