Im strongly standing with the second one. Regardless of how ‘small’ ur cheating is, a cheat is still a cheat.. yes. cheating is chesting. no matter the format. you are still being sexual and/or bonding with someone else. only possible exception would be if in some type of open/poly relationship beforehand or in this particular medium, you and your partner were together in sexting/cybering this other person.

There is emotional cheating and there is mentally cheating. Thinking someone is attractive is one thing. However going out of your way to talk to them, flirt with them, and even sext them is still pretty bad. I doubt it's any less painful to find someone else's nudes more amusing. I doubt it's less painful to know someone else is more amusing to toy with. I doubt it's any less painful to know that you confide in someone else than if they blatently had sex together.
