What should people do to prep for dating when they are single?

Trying to figure out how to live life prepping for my time to start dating people properly. But before I do I need to make sure I get the most out of my time being single. How should one (male or female) prepare for their time to date?

By knowing what you want. A person is the sum of their habits and beliefs.
I think prepping is all about you changing your beliefs and habits that won't help you and knowing what person you want by their habits and beliefs.

It's the same as prepping to receive any goal. You have to know what you want, who you need to be, and you have to make space for that goal in your life.

As someone mentioned before, knowing who you are is very important.


Be clear about who you are, what you stand for, what are your values, etc.


Also, be clear about what you want in a relationship and what you don’t want in a relationship.


Being clear on all these things will give you the wisdom to know when to end or extend the length of a relationship.
