+1 yParents kissing is fine. Kids should learn that their parents love each other.
Parents, just make sure it doesn't get too passionate though. Your kids should not see you having sex... at least not on the beach.

It’s much more normal and healthy to see a loving couple being affectionate than one that never does,

Can't agree more while the woke poeple will say don't influence your kids! It's very healthy for them to see good relationships and some pda

It's important for children to see affection between parents, just like Apple said. They'll learn from that when they have a relationship. Every girlfriend has always told me how well I treat them. I tell them to thank my father, he's who I learned from.

+1 yIn my opinion, it is fine.
There is nothing wrong with parents showing physical affection towards each other in front of their children. It is important for children to see healthy and safe relationships as an example for their own future relationships.
As long as the parents do not go overboard with the level of physical affection and make their child uncomfortable, it is ok.

+1 yI think its good for children to see some physical affection between parents. My parents were never affectionate at all, and I think it left me with a very distorted idea of what "love" looked like

+1 yNothing wrong with giving your SO a sweet little kiss in front of your teenage kids. It teaches them respectable forms of PDA and that you need to work at relationships to sustain them.
They may say oooo... gross, but in the end they see their parents loving each other.

+1 yKids need to see parents being affectionate with each other. Show of how much they love. If not, kids will grow up to be cold and heartless.

+1 yDo you think a person cannot show each other love after they have had a child? I would think that it was great that they still loved each other.

+1 yAbsolutely OK. I think one of the reasons that divorce rates are so high is that the couple don't desire each other anymore sexually. They are combatants under the same roof. For me, sex, intimacy and affection are vital to maintain a loving relationship. If this manifests itself as kissing at the beach in front of their kids, then great. The kids have a model of what love really means and the joy it brings to their family.

+1 yIt is perfectly fine. It may even lead to a Lucky Pierre situation. :)
210 Reply- +1 y
What does that mean?
- +1 y
@musicbrain5 Sometimes a teenage son joins mom and dad in romance. And every once in a while, that lucky boy gets to be "Pierre." :)
- +1 y
So like a threesome with parents? Gross.
- +1 y
@musicbrain5 It's a European thing.
- +1 y
Interesting, since I come from a European family and my husband is also European... never heard of this kind of behaviour.
- +1 y
@musicbrain5 You must be Northern European.
- +1 y
No, my family is Russian and my husband is Serbian.
- +1 y
@musicbrain5 Both of those regions are north of where family threesomes are most popular.
- +1 y
Okay then.

+1 yChildren should know parents love each other and love really exists.
I would love to kiss my husband anytime I want or he wants and wouldn’t think my child has a right to stop me from showing love to my lifetime partner.
It’s just a kiss.00 Reply 1.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Of course its OKEY , its more than OKEY , that child ( and thats all there are at that age ) gets to see that they have a genuine , caring , sexual connection , and thats awesome when you have kids , life doesn't stop , and sex life is important , its nice that its public.

20 ReplyPersonally I don't see a problem with a little pda infront of younger people, key word being "little". Smooching and beyond now that's what's inappropriate infront of anybody.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI'm a healthy family, the teenager should be used to the parents to showing their love openly, and not think too much about it.
Hopefully the parents keep it within bounds of taste, of course.
00 Replyto me parents shouldn't really make out in front of their kids..
