I rent the basement to 2 young women and I treat them differently the one with the same nationality as me we are always talking I offer her rides and pick up groceries for her let her borrow my hairdryer or medicine

Doesn't sound like one is being treated differently. It sounds like one doesn't want that sort of treatment. If you are willing to give them the same treatment and one doesn't take it then that is not on you. If you don't offer the same then that is your fault but it doesn't sound like that is the case. Sounds more like one just isn't interested in those perks you allow. So as long as you are open to treating them the same and the one girl doesn't take advantage of it then that's her problem.

Some people you just click with and others you don’t. It’s not your fault if you don’t bond with a person, it just is, and if they get jealous over it, it’s not about you, it’s about something inside of them. So don’t allow others to project their own feelings onto you and hinder you from forming deep friendships with others. Jealousy isn’t wrong either necessarily, it what one does with it. Possessiveness is wrong, thinking that a person can only be friends with you and no one else is more like ownership and everyone deserves anonymity.
