I want a girl who keeps herself fit, if she neglects herself she gives me the idea of a woman who doesn't care about herself, then as she gets older she will suffer both health-wise and aesthetically.

Personally I play no sports but I'm still fit and healthy! I don't abuse my body and make healthy choices

You're young now, it's normal that by not doing sport you can still keep fit, but as you get older your metabolism may slow down, but everyone is free to do or not to do sport.

Cannot fathom people not liking cats. The funny thing is, they are nearly always dog lovers. I don't know why people always compare the two

I'm married too so that doesn't work either. I have always loved dogs. Have 2 that weigh 120 and 145 lbs. Both cuddle lap dogs and with wonderful personalities. Man's best friend. They also keep me active by having to go for long walks which is a good thing as I probably wouldn't go for as long of walks without them.
