Can a lasting relationship develop from a one night stand?
This can happen in rare cases. Most men cannot develop proper attachment when they get sex too soon and too easily, so the one-noght stand itself is in the way here.
If a lasting relationship is the goal, then it is far better to take things slowly. For example, the first kiss and first sex should not be on the same occasion. Kissing needs to be a stage at which to linger a bit so that the brain can be saturated with the required hormones for a while.

I think it depends on the guy because most get judgmental about women who have sex immediately, even though they're usually the ones pushing for it.

The answer is Yes it can. It is possible.
As for stories, there are no real life stories that I know about. However, I remember a movie called " No strings Attached" it was released in 2011. Towards the end of the movie the lead characters are shows proceeding towards love and then beginning a relationship together.
Hence it is very much possible.

The answer is yes, I know several people who, after having had a one nigh stand, have become engaged and have been together for a long time, some have even married, however in many other cases, numerous one nigh stands remain an end in themselves, often those who seek a one-night stand have no desire for ties, so a serious and lasting relationship is unlikely to evolve.

Relationships absolutely can develop from one night stands. I had a friend meet his first wife that way. That said; he's the only person I've ever heard of doing that, and their relationship was total chaos.

Is not impossible but it's rare. I know a couple who been happily married and have one kid they've been together for 10 years and everything started after a one night stand.

I know of a friend who shagged a girl. They both lied to having been promiscuous. When they finally had sex they realised they were still rookies in the sex game. They fell in love with each other. They have 4 kids now.

I think you meant to ask if it can develop from sex on the first meeting/date. Because by definition a "one night stand" means you don't do it again, so in that case, no you can't have a lasting relationship.

I hooked up with the trainee girl at work and we both came out of previous relationships and were not interested to jump into new relationships..
