What to get as a birthday gift for 66 y/o boyfriend?

I'm a relatively young person in a relationship with a much older man. This person has done a great deal for me over the past year, and his birthday is coming up. I'd like to do something wonderful for him, but my budget is limited. I don't want to do something tacky like a mug. He LOVES music, art, anything to do with culture. He likes to cook, play trumpet, listens to classical music and jazz, things of that nature. It doesn't really even have to be a gift, I'd just like to do something special that shows him how much he means to me. TIA.

Can you cook for him? How about checking resale and thrift stores for some cool clothing he would like? My wife buys me gifts from thrift stores and resale stores and I love them.

Get him a jazz recording. Like a vintage album if he has a record player. Or maybe a CD.

i would much rather have my girlfriend do something from the heart rather than from money give im a special evening cook him a tasty dinner make it a little bit of a romantic setting (im not a typical romantic but i would definitely enjoy the effort & thought put in) with some jazz in the background end the night giving him pleasure that is not your normal sexual style have a bit of a mental guide/plan or list for this adventure obviously let it flow naturally

create a picnic for him henlikes nature but include it into part of his bday gift

stuff like that takes thought and heart much better in my view
