I would say yes I have a basic provider-mindset and I´m developing it even more. For me it´s more a way of showing to other people that I want to play an active role in situations and that I´m ready to take the lead and the responsibility. I prefer to call it a care taker mindset because I don´t see it as strictly patriarchal.
For me the reason is that I don´t want to be seen as passive and indifferent. I want people to see that I care about them. One can´t take care without being active so I play my role towards girls and women and other guys.
