I've never been on a vacation with someone I didn't know that well and I likely wouldn't go on a vacation with someone I did not know well enough.

You're kind of stuck with the person for the week or two weeks so you better know you can be with them for that duration.

Oh yeah for sure. It was one of life's rude awakenings. She and I dated for a year and then went on a vacation together and that ended it... LOL... I was 24 at the time and for the next 5 years I was reluctant to go on any trip with any woman that I dated! lol...
