How do I know if a guy has a girlfriend?

I met a guy to hang out with, and we were hanging out at the park, getting to know each other. So, I wanted to walk around, and he seemed hesitant. He said, "Oh, you want to walk around?" I responded, "Aww, we don't have to if you don't want to." And he replied, "No, if you want to walk around, we can do it." So, after that, we spent a good 4 hours talking and laughing. Then, he tried to kiss me and make moves on me, but I told him that we're not at that stage yet. After that, we left. He asked me if I got home okay, and he responds to my texts pretty fast. However, we didn't really text each other much after that. I told him I was busy with college anyway, and he works out of town. One day, he hit me up and asked me to hang out with him. I'm kind of hesitant because he tried to make moves on me last time, but the vibes were there. I told him "probably," and he said okay, but we haven't planned a date or anything. Usually, I know where he is when he's out of town. He posted on his story a picture of him in an apartment or dorm, and the decorations in the place were pink, and the mirror had stickers...
