If you’re referring to sexual or romantic relationships I believe there is some evidence that lesbian relationships have the greatest chance of failure, followed by straight relationships, and unless I’m mistaken, gay relationships are more likely to succeed, though divorce rates in general are high.


If you’re referring to relationships in general, like friendships. I think same sex are probably stronger.

Even though i have no proof i will say same sex ones would last longer if they are build on a solid ground but opposite sex relationships kind of bound to fail or turn into something more familial than romantic cuz let's be honest there is too much opposity in opposite sex relationships.

It depends what you mean when you say same sex. Statistically, the relationships that last the longest are gay relationships, followed by heterosexual relationships, and at the bottom of the barrel are lesbian relationships, which tend to be most prone to divirce / breakup.

Stats show different things in some places same sex relationships are more stable in others they are less stable. It's hard to tell what the actual answer is. Though it seems in places where same sex marriage is more accepted, same sex relationships are also more stable.

Statically speaking straight and gay relationships have a pretty equal chance of working out or not. Lesbians are the ones who are statistically the most likely to break up or get divorced
