Why didn’t any of my friends but three text me concerned texts after I posted on insta that I was in the ER and they see the story? Do they not love?

Do they not love me? Are they not actually concerned? I feel unloved and awful that my friends probably don’t care about me and awful physically

Do you assume that everyone would just drop what they’re doing to make you the center of attention every time you go through something bad? I’m sure your trip was undoubtedly serious and I understand reaching out for support, but did you ask for that? Or did you just ask for thoughts and prayers? Or just say “i’m in the hospital lol” or something along those lines? Context matters and while you are the center of your world, you are not the center of other people’s worlds without asking them for their support first. If you wanted more people to talk to about this, why not reach out to them? Let them know you’ll be okay?

I just said I was in the ER. I don’t think I am at the centers universe, I just wanted my friends and best friends to actually I don't know care/show me they care because I need that validation in general

They’re probably just busy and presume you’ll be fine since you’re already in the hospital

My mom told me they know I am fine since I could post and write two coherent sentences and they may not want to say anything because they may think I don’t want to talk about it.

When did you post? Were they at work, or with the other friends? Do any of them have legitimate reasons for not checking up on you?

Its best to always assume either circumstance, or stupidity, before malice.

I posted it late at night since I had to stay the whole night and then most of the next day in the hospital. Instagram stories stay up for at least 24 hours so they had time to see it and also I saw that a lot of them did. My mom said that they know I am fine because I was able to post and briefly write about it

Get a life. Stay off of social media. The fact that you care how people respond to your social media is sad. That is what you get for relying on instagram to get attention instead of personally letting people you care about know what is going on.
