Is It Wrong If My Brother's ex best friend who happens to be divorced now from the now ex - wife has been texting me & wanting to have consent sex?

Sorry my Question is That My Brother's ex best friend has been wanting to text me back and forth since his divorce which was about now 7 months ago. Yet Many people might think that is odd because both our families are close & his own father's family lived in the next small village down by where my father's family's farm was in Former Yugoslavia. Because I have been feeling if we do have fun we will be looked down on by anyone because of how close our family has been since he was my Nephew who was his Godson and he was the Godfather for my brother's kids at the time. Yet now they all have stopped any communication after my father passed away in 2018. We don't think it is harming anyone to be honest.

There seems to be a high degree on intertwining in the families - which i certainly don't understand.
