Teen Grooming! Is there any way to tell when someone is grooming someone younger for latter?

We think my cousins husband is grooming his single friends teen daughter! Like most of the family is kinda wondering and talking.

He is always with the teen and the mom is always just tagging along with the 2 of them and him to things. Along with his wife who is never his primary focus.

There is including a single mom in stuff but this is going way beyond that!

The mom has issues and only dates the wrong guys. Her ex screamed at her that he would rape her daughter if she did not give in to things!

Her ex is now in jail... Again

You can usually tell

It's hard to tell if it will ever go behind freinds

Watch how she jokes and talks with him

Might just be obvious when she grows more and things get sexual

The mom probably knows but does not care

Only time will tell when he divorced your cousin

He might be trying to be a positive influence, or he might not even realize that there is grooming going on. Probably best to talk with the young lady one on one from a trusted adult. If she is aware and can recognize some signs, that is the best defense.

I don't think her close family would ever want to talk about it or breath a word of it.

Kinda like everyone one knows but no one will stop it mentality sadly.

And at 16 or 18 or 20 a young woman often prefers older bad bfs. She knows is wrong for her but she is having fun exploring herself

Yes, sadly, but you can tell. One time I was down my local Rite Aid store and this teen girl was in there with two older men. One looked to be her dad and the other one looked to be her grand-dad. As she walked down every aisle the oldest guy would slap her butt now talking about sick. He wouldn't let up.
