What does it mean when a guy says he would never hurt you?

Me and my boyfriend were texting and we were talking about me saying that I would never show anyone a picture of one of his body parts and he said I’m not just anyone I’m your first true love and I didn’t know what to say didn’t know what to do. I freaked out and I was just like I don’t think I ever said that I was in love with you or that you were my true love. I think I hardest feelings, but I’m not sure because we never talked about that. And I told him that topic kind of scared me when I wanted to get off of it and he said he would never hurt me so what I’m trying to ask is. What does it mean when a guy says I would never hurt you? If he does, mean it is he trying to tell me that he’s in love with me? Or that I’m his true love Cause I do feel like he is my true love, and that I am in love with him, but it kind of scares me that I am getting too attached because what if he does hurt me I trust him, but my mind is telling me otherwise and it scares me to him about it just between us too because I feel like we do need to have a talk.
