Can social anxiety go away?

It seems no matter how many social exposure therapies I do, I just can't get myself not to have social anxiety. I'm not shy either it's just I don't know what to say to people, so people assume I'm an extremely shy introverted person when actually it's the opposite... How do I talk to people? I feel like I have nothing interesting to say and I feel like I'm not like everyone else. Maybe it's because I was homeschooled?
