"Sorry, I slept in. I dove into conspiracy theory video essays on youtube until 4 am last night."

"Did I already tell you that? Really?"

"Why's the house painted? Well, you know how my mods give me motivation to do random things? Well..."

"I'm sorry about screaming my head off for the past four minutes. Today's been annoying and when Netflix started lagging, I guess I lost it."

"I know you want to cuddle but my muscles need constant movement so I gotta turn."

honestly i think we both have adhd. it's a lot of back and forth on where to eat, uncertain of what we want. a lot of sidetracking. a lot of stopping in the middle of a conversation and saying something else and then back to that conversation, maybe unless something else distracts yet again. sometimes everything is cluttered. and then sometimes super clean. there is no in-between lol

I dated a lady who has a PhD in psychology and is a clinical psychologist, and she has ADHD. She required a bit more patience than the average person. I was mostly OK with it. One time though it was real annoying to me when in a restaurant placing her order, she called the waitress back 3 times to change her order. I told her that the waitress would be confused at that point. Sure enough, they got her order wrong because she confused them. Then she sent it back. I think she should have just stuck with what they gave her since she really was a bit "scattered" with her way of ordering.

I think I probably have at least a low level of ADHD. I get distracted easily, my brain never stops wandering, and long past the point where I should be in a upper level position I continue to remain in an operational setting as a team leader.
Truthfully, I think it can be hard on my spouse. I’m consistent in my love for her and our family but I have a hard time just finding the stillness in life. I like to be busy. I like living & working in a high-risk realm. I find talking therapeutic and I think it’s a lot for somebody sometimes. Yet, when you love somebody you just adjust and compromise.

I'm scatter brained have trouble organizing n prioritizing I tend to do three things at once.. I wanna solve three pro lems at once.. I'm impulsive prone to being sidetracked.. either something captures my attention gluing me to it for hours.. I can't follow TV shows cause as soon as it's commercial I change channels n forget to go back
Cause I'm surfing program to next

Wonderful.

My ex girlfriend took Aderrall to counteract hers. I was completely unaware and surprised she had it when she showed me her medication. I didn't really care, I wanted to be close to her. I wasn't so sure she needed it.

I think soon after she showed me, I went to a theme park with some of my friends and won an absurdly large blue warthog stuffed animal. I placed it on her bed with her mom's permission to surprise her. It took up like the whole bed.

Not much different than a relationship with somebody not with ADHD.. She just took a lot of meds, and was sometimes Lazer focused for hours on a task and sometimes a busy body for no reason. Her and her mother (Who also had ADHD) were also a bit... Forgetful sometimes..

People speculate that I have it but in today’s multi-tasking world I think it gives me an advantage whatever it is. I will switch subjects in my wife rather quickly and she has a hard time following me at times. But we have been together for decades so no worries.

it depends... I'm rather closed off and an observer... So, living with a person who has ADHD but has not been treated for it could be hell for me... Properly treated ADHD is not a problem

Well, I have personality type A. I can't sit around the house and like to work or do something all the time 😅. When it comes to relationship I really have a hard time controlling my messages speed.
