Cheating is a bad word for this question, because many people try to make stupid "technical" distinctions like 'getting a blow job from an ex isn't cheating because I didn't have my dick in her pussy,' or flirting isn't cheating because you didn't take off your clothes.

The important question is whether you did something that violates your partner's trust or their reasonable expectations on the limits of your behavior. And the usual test is whether you did something that you needed to hide from your partner. Would you flirt with another girl openly in the presence of your current partner? If not, then you are violating their trust and expectations.

Emotional cheating is a strong one. Flirting, having literal feelings for someone else, prioritizing another man/woman over your partner (all the time), basically acting like someone else's partner than to your own partner. I also consider flirting for benefits as cheating. It may not even be cheating but I just don't like it, it feels weird to me. Boundaries, I guess.

Besides physical cheating, yk sleeping with someone else, kissing someone else, being too touchy in general with someone else. There's even that specific look you shouldn't give to anyone but your partner.

Anything that requires to be done behind your partners back, the intention of hiding it from your partner shows mal intentions and it should be considered cheating to a certain point, it doesn't need to be hidden if it's not wrong right?

Doing something behind my back with no intention of telling me, my wife has sex with anyone she chooses to, but she always tells me about it. But, if she were to sleep with someone and I didn't find out until way later and was told by a third party, that would be cheating
