A little side note before I get into it, me and my boyfriend haven’t had sex for months and he hasn’t been kissing me. So today my boyfriend’s mom had called and asked if me and my daughter (5 months) was busy so she could give my daughter her Christmas gifts but when I told her we wasn’t busy or doing anything today she said my boyfriend (Lucas) said that we were and then a hour later she came over and asked where was Lucas but he wasn’t over my apartment, he wasn’t at work or my apartment or his mom’s house and he lied twice about being over here and that me and my daughter were busy, me and his mom are catching on to his lying and she thinks he is cheating and doesn’t want to be involved, could she be right? And when I did ask him why he lied he just ignored me.

It sounds like he is cheating , especially if his Mom is thinking the same thing , and the fact that he doesn’t want intimacy and affection from you for a long time, is definitely a red flag that he is up to No good , You are best to have a sit down talk with him and look him straight in the eyes and ask him if he is cheating on you , If he looks nervous or he looks the other way when answering your questions , he is more than likely cheating on you and you are best to end it with him. He might or might not tell you the truth because he knows he is a POS

Yes is be overthinking this way as well, if his own mother said it, it's possible they he's done it before, either ways It seems like the mom didn't raise him that way.

The fact that you’re suspecting it, and asking the question already points into the wrong direction. Trust your intuition on this one what does your “gut” feel? You mention a lack of intimacy, and that to me is one major red flag especially after months? Some guys can’t even go months without sex, so if it’s not with you then it could be with someone else seriously. So honestly, just sit down and have a talk with him about this. As to why there’s no intimacy, the lies, etc.
